15th Annual Hits FM Awards
Hits FM 91.2 has distributed various awards under 20 categories in its 15th edition of the Hits FM Music Awards in Kathmandu on Friday. Lyricist Chhetra Pratap Adhikari has been awarded with Lifetime Achievement Award which is awarded to the prominent figure of the music industry for his/her lifelong contribution to the music field.

95 songs were nominated for all the awards from the songs and albums registered at Hits FM from Baisakh 1, 2067 to the end of year.


The winners of the Hits FM Awards-2068 includes followings.

1.    Lifetime Achievement Award: Chhetra Pratap Adhikari
2.    Best New Artist: Seema Sangraula, (Ke nai runchha)
3.    Best Song Originally Recorded for a Motion Picture Soundtrack:  Suresh Adhikari (Kasle choryo mero man)
4.    Best Vocal Collaboration: Anju Pant/Narendra Pyasi (Jaam kyare)
5.    Best Female Pop Vocal Performance: Pushpa Gurung (Rog ho ki ya dosh ho)
6.    Best Male Pop Vocal Performance Om Bikram Bista (Gahro paryo)
7.    Best Performance by Group or Duo with vocal: Albatross (Chhaina)
8.    Folk Record of the Year: Tulsi Parajuli (Patan ko Paatalo Chiura)
9.    Folk Album of the Year: Rup Kumar Rai (Ram Saili)
10.  Best Pop Composition: Jems Pradhan (Garho parto)
11.  Best Rock Composition: Albatross (Chhaina)
12.  Best Arrangement: Amul Karki (Haasi Haasi)
13.  Best Composition: Ashish Abiral (Maya O Maya)
14.  Best Rock Vocal Performance: Albatros (Chhaina)
15.  Best Female Vocal Performance: Sangeeta Rana Pradhan (Haasi Haasi)
16.  Best Male Vocal Performance: Narendra Pyasi (Maya O Maya)
17.  PoP/Rock Album of the Year: 1974 AD (Aaat Aaathaana)
18.  Album of the Year: Rajesh Payal Rai (Rai is King)
